Milling at Price Products

Programmed, machined and inspected under one roof

Our CNC milling department produces prismatic and complex-contour components, from first prototypes through production runs. Every job is programmed in house, cut on [3-, 4- and 5-axis] machining centers, and inspected before it ships.

Milling works hand in hand with our CNC lathe and mill-turn department. When a part needs both turned and milled features, it moves between departments without leaving the building — one supplier, one quality system, one point of contact.

The difference

What sets our milling apart

Four practices that keep milled parts accurate, repeatable and responsibly made.

Tombstone fixturing

Our machines are large enough to leave fixturing in place between job runs. Repeat orders skip setup and go straight to cutting, shortening lead times.

In-house programming

CAM toolpaths are optimized before the first chip is cut, reducing cycle time, tool wear and wasted material.

Inspection & quality control

Milled parts are verified to the drawing under our ISO 9001 quality system, with [first article and dimensional reports] available.

Sustainable machining

Plant-based coolants, optimized toolpaths and weekly scrap metal recycling, with dedicated staff for supplier sustainability reporting.

Additional capabilities

Most milled parts need more than milling. Keeping the other steps in house means one purchase order, one quality system and one point of contact from raw stock to finished assembly.

All capabilities

Turned parts, plus mill-turn work that combines turning and milling to reduce setups. Parts that need both move between our departments in house. CNC lathe & mill-turn →
